Rafael, XiTrust attended the DSAG Annual Congress in Leipzig with a strong team. What was your first impression?
We had three very intense days. We learnt first-hand about the needs of potential customers in many conversations. It has to be said that the XiTrust team was congenially supported this time by SAP luminary and specialist author Martin Koch (CloudDNA), who deserves a big thank you for his unique expertise. As well as the team on site, Simone Weidenfelder (Xitrust Sales Management Austria) and Michael Maurer (Partner Management XiTrust).
What was the response to MOXIS?
The depth of integration of MOXIS in SAP has positively surprised many interested parties. We are seeing a steadily growing demand here.
In what way?
Quite simply because many users prefer to prepare and edit electronic signature processes entirely within the SAP interface – they would rather not work with constant digital media disruptions. Which is inevitable with other providers. With MOXIS, all of this is easy to implement.
What kind of signatures are involved?
The conversations focussed on legally secure, qualified e-signatures for board documents, NDAs or HR topics. Above a certain order volume, it is also becoming increasingly important for the procurement department to be able to sign electronically in SAP in a qualified manner. XiTrust also gave a much-noticed keynote speech on this topic: “Legally compliant electronic signing from your existing SAP infrastructure with MOXIS”. Companies need to take on the challenges ahead and turn them into creative IT solutions.”

What key trends did you observe in Leipzig?
Firstly, the migration to SAP S/4HANA, where we also see enormous potential for companies. And secondly, of course, the move to the Cloud.
Is the trend moving towards the Cloud?
The different hosting options currently still exist side by side on an equal footing. Overall, however, we have to assume that the importance of on-premises will decrease in the future. This also has a lot to do with the issues of resources and sustainability.
Has awareness of this grown?
Definitely. The entire DSAG Congress was characterised by the current difficult – also geopolitical – environment. The buzzword “turnaround” was just as present in Leipzig as the transformation as such as well as digitalisation. It will be crucial for companies and SAP users to accept these challenges and turn them into creative IT solutions.
Just like the electronic signature?
Electronic signatures in particular are all about practical matters, such as short decision-making processes that are turbo-charged by digital signature processes – especially in SAP. IT solutions like MOXIS that minimise human resources and can be easily integrated into SAP via interfaces are in demand.
You mentioned three intense days at the beginning. Were there any relaxing moments?
Of course there were. Indeed, the organiser DSAG managed to get experienced IT experts dancing in the evening. A truly perfectly organised event!
