The leitmotif of the Signature Brunch is in the air: “Digitalisation after Corona. Where is the journey going?” Rarely has there been such a lasting change in awareness of the need for consistent digitalisation in such a short space of time. This is clearly illustrated by the example of electronic signatures.
At the second edition of the Signature Brunch organised by XiTrust and partner company inovoo, these and other topics relating to digital transformation were discussed. The hosts were quick to agree that Corona has turned out to be a game changer in digitalisation: Thomas Schneider, CEO of XiTrust partner inovoo, and Rafael Winkler, Head of Sales XiTrust Germany, focused on the digital world after Corona at the online event, which was once again fully booked.
Merkel's mobile phone
Thomas Schneider began with a simple example to illustrate just how intensive developments have been in all areas of digitalisation in recent years: when German Chancellor Angela Merkel took office, there were no iPhones yet. With a mischievous smile, the IT entrepreneur left open the question of whether this speaks to an overlong term of office or the rapid pace at which innovations can become global standards. One thing is clear: “The technology for everything that companies like XiTrust and inovoo are doing today has been around since the 1990s. And now we can finally apply it on a broad scale.”
