XiTrust Signature Brunch

Can Germany go digital?

At the second edition of the Signature Brunch organised by XiTrust and partner company inovoo, these and other topics relating to digital transformation were discussed.

The leitmotif of the Signature Brunch is in the air: “Digitalisation after Corona. Where is the journey going?” Rarely has there been such a lasting change in awareness of the need for consistent digitalisation in such a short space of time. This is clearly illustrated by the example of electronic signatures.

At the second edition of the Signature Brunch organised by XiTrust and partner company inovoo, these and other topics relating to digital transformation were discussed. The hosts were quick to agree that Corona has turned out to be a game changer in digitalisation: Thomas Schneider, CEO of XiTrust partner inovoo, and Rafael Winkler, Head of Sales XiTrust Germany, focused on the digital world after Corona at the online event, which was once again fully booked.

Merkel's mobile phone

Thomas Schneider began with a simple example to illustrate just how intensive developments have been in all areas of digitalisation in recent years: when German Chancellor Angela Merkel took office, there were no iPhones yet. With a mischievous smile, the IT entrepreneur left open the question of whether this speaks to an overlong term of office or the rapid pace at which innovations can become global standards. One thing is clear: “The technology for everything that companies like XiTrust and inovoo are doing today has been around since the 1990s. And now we can finally apply it on a broad scale.”

Deciding faster

Applications such as Novo CxP from inovoo and the e-signature solution MOXIS have once again underlined their strengths, especially due to the need for decentralised working during the lockdowns. At the same time, acceptance of cloud-based, automated signature and document management solutions has increased significantly. “Last year, many companies approached us as they quickly needed a mature solution for electronic signature processes. This would not have been possible without the cloud,” reported Rafael Winkler, who joined from the office at XiTrust’s German site in Mönchengladbach. “At last,” added Schneider for the German market, “decisions regarding the integration of digital solutions have been made with courage and with speed, where previously the most detailed decision-making processes often dragged out the procedures. Germany can go digital. But we need to take more risks and get to work faster.” A centrepiece of the Signature Brunch was Schneider and Winkler’s relaxed presentation of how Novo CxP and MOXIS can work together: document recognition with artificial intelligence, data processing from all common input channels including analysis and filing is complemented by the digital signature with MOXIS, in all signature qualities – from simple to advanced to qualified electronic signatures.

Integrated solution

The depth of automation of this integrated solution from XiTrust and inovoo offers considerable efficiency gains for companies in all sectors. Rafael Winkler put it in a nutshell with an example from the international recruitment industry: “Where thousands of employment contracts were previously sent by post, sometimes around the globe, and processed individually in analogue form, automated processes with electronic signatures have taken their place.” Winkler also added a very practical aspect: “Because the postal service could often take weeks, a number of high potentials jumped ship and started working for other companies.” Thomas Schneider from inovoo had the final word in this informative and relaxed round of talks. What advice would he give companies on the path to transformation? ” That is simple: agile thinking, and an agile approach. Tackle things head on and enter into a collaborative dialogue on the best solution for every company requirement.”
