Whenever it simplifies procedures and a “personal touch” is inappropriate, signature expert Wunsch believes that electronic signatures have the advantage. However, she also recommends favouring handwriting in business life from time to time: ” Whenever you want to reach people emotionally or express special appreciation, a handwritten signature is essential.” This is why a number of companies commission handwritten, beautiful lettering from her for individual occasions. This is a booming market that has made it onto the chalkboards of high-end restaurants in the digital age. However, Elke Wunsch still finds personalised handwriting the most exciting. “Handwriting is something that makes us unique.
